Tank Monitor Message Maintenance System
Under the
section Tank Monitors > Messages
the user can view all of the event generated tank monitor messages that were created according to selections in My
> Message Maintenance. This feature allows
customer service personnel to acknowledge within the
system that an event generated message has been addressed by either customer service or field service personnel.
Benefit:
This feature can be used as a mechanism to review, track and confirm that event generated tank monitor messages have been addressed by propane company personnel for improved customer service and system maintenance. Once the message has been confirmed by selecting a check box next to the message, the message is moved to an archiving page for future reference.
Feature At Work:
Intelligent Propane has Tank Monitors and Gateways deployed on thousands of customer tanks within its service area. The customer
service personnel use the
Tank Monitor >
Message page as a customer service and system maintenance tool to confirm that corrective action has been taken when a message
that was generated by the tank monitor appears. Examples of messages that customer service would respond to would be a low fuel level,
unusual usage of fuel, inside temperature alert or a sensor alert indicating an improperly installed sensor. This feature provides an
automated means of confirming that a system generated event has been addressed by Intelligent Propane benefiting the business
with a higher level of customer service and a means to maintain the tank monitor system.
