Geo-Coding Management System
Geo-coding is the process of assigning accurate latitude and longitude to delivery addresses. A comprehensive geo-coding management system

Delivery Management system has the
most robust multi level geo-coding system in the industry. Providing the most accurate geo-codes for delivery addresses, informing the user
when geo-codes cannot be determined because of a address data problem and providing simple tools to stay on top of address and geo-code problems.
The process for geo-coding consists of:
- Basic validation of a address every time a address is transferred into from the clients accounting system.
- Automatic geo-coding of all addresses that appears valid through selected internet geo-coding services.

If the above steps are not successful a address maintenance message is displayed in the
Delivery Management Address maintenance screen, on the Review Delivery Set screen and on the Delivery maps. At any of
these points the user can manually edit the address and try to obtain a geo-code until successful.

The most powerful feature however, captures the actual geo-codes from GPS enabled
Mobile bobtail configurations when a delivery is being made.
