Gateway With 8 Tanks

The e-Fuel Delivery Management Gateway Module is built to support communication with (8) tanks using individual e-Fuel Delivery Management Data Module tank monitors as a standard product offering. No special configuration is required for this service.

Benefit:

The reduction in the number of Gateway Modules required to collect data from tank monitors located in a small geographic area saves on the hardware cost required to service a specific location. Multiple tanks with Data Modules can be assigned to one Gateway Module remotely; a site visit for additional set-up is not required.

Feature At Work:

Example #1

Intelligent Propane has 4 x 30,000 gallon storage tanks, at its main retail location. With e-Fuel Delivery Management Data Modules on each tank, Intelligent Propane is able to view the most current tank levels as they scroll in order of assigned tank number on the e-Fuel Delivery Management Gateway Module Display located in the retail location office. These levels can also be viewed on any Internet enabled personal computer by wholesale staff from the e-Fuel Delivery Management Delivery Management web site.

Example #2

Intelligent Propane is pursuing new business with developers of residential neighborhoods. Some of these homes being constructed have a main propane tank for home heating and cooking, a propane tank to service a pool heater and another propane tank for a fireplace. With the e-Fuel Delivery Management tank monitoring hardware, all (3) tanks can have monitors that communicate the propane tank fuel status to one Gateway Module located in the residence. The Gateway Module will scroll through the levels of each tank for the home owner to view on demand. The benefit for the home builder is supplying a system that ensures reliability of energy supply to the home owner.

Example #3

Intelligent Propane is installing the e-Fuel Delivery Management tank monitoring equipment on its existing customers in a residential neighborhood. One customer does not have analog phone service in the home so a Gateway Module cannot be used. The home behind this customer has the e-Fuel Delivery Management tank monitoring hardware installed. The Gateway Module in this home can monitor both tanks and mask the tank monitor data from the home that does not have a Gateway Module. This allows Intelligent Propane to monitor both customer tanks from one residence.
