process. The automated power circuit runs on stored solar energy as its primary power source and switches to an on board battery as the secondary
power source when stored solar energy is not available.

*Underwriters Laboratories (U.L.) requires removal of device to a non-hazardous area in order to perform a battery replacement. This involves uninstalling the tank monitor, disassembly, installing the new battery, reassembling, reinstalling and testing the tank monitor. Most likely, the replacement battery must be from the same original manufacturer.
